UIC’s audit department is an independent unit and is subordinate to the board. It not only reports routinely during boards meetings, but also to the chairman monthly or when it is required.
Functions of Auditing Department
01 To audit each department (including subsidiaries) in order to have quality and continuous improvement in the organization’s control processes.
02 To establish and execute company’s auditing policies, and to set up annual auditing plan, prepare for the audit working papers, lead special projects and hand in auditing reports.
03 There are 3 to 5 auditors in UIC’s auditing department.
